Властелин колец: Кольца власти — американский фэнтезийный телесериал, разработанный Дж. Д. Пейном и Патриком Маккеем для стримингового сервиса Amazon Prime Video. Он основан на истории Средиземья Дж. Р. Р. Толкина, в основном на материалах из приложений к роману «Властелин колец» (1954–1955). Сериал разворачивается за тысячи лет до событий романа и изображает ключевые события Второй эпохи Средиземья. Производством занимается Amazon MGM Studios совместно с New Line Cinema. Сериал включает адаптации различных локаций и объектов из произведений Толкина, а также оригинальные элементы, созданные специально для сериала.
Предыстория[править | править код]
Компания Amazon приобрела глобальные телевизионные права на «Властелина колец» Дж. Р. Р. Толкина (1954–1955) в ноябре 2017 года. Стриминговый сервис компании, Amazon Prime Video, дал обязательство на несколько сезонов сериала, основанного на романе и его приложениях, который должен был быть произведен Amazon Studios совместно с New Line Cinema и при консультациях с Tolkien Estate.
